Since we've moved, our formely known 'Single of the Week' has transformed into 'Track of the Week'. Our 'Track of the Week' can now be anything from the past right through to the present, that is why this week we've picked the legendary 'Gold' by JAWS.
Although it's now officially autumn, listening to 'Gold' always manages to create a euphoric sense of summer. Released back in July of 2013, 'Gold' has been the soundtrack to the forever blossoming career of the Birmingham band, it's a track of which makes you invisage a rowdy crowd of indie kids dancng away inside a festival
tent to, a track of which when driving along on a summers day makes you roll down the windows and play at full and a track of which just makes you want to sing and dance like you don't give a ****. 'Gold' is a simple yet masterful piece of music. A handful of notes and the usage of foot-pedals to the extreme has never sounded so good. 'Gold' features on JAWS' debut album, 'Be Slowly' and whilst there's a few other toe-tappers and head-bangers on there too, it still remains our personal favourite.
