We caught up with Fred Perry Subculture endorsed solo artist, Nina, this week. The Berlin born but London based Bowie inspired lone ranger has recently released her new track, 'My Mistake', to much applause and with the future looking promising we thought we'd grab a chat whilst we could.
1. Who is Nina?
I'm a Berlin born, London based synth pop singer (addicted to the 80s).
2. Who are your biggest musical inspirations?
Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac and many others.
3. You've recently released your new track 'My Mistake', as well as its video. Tell us a little about this?
'My Mistake' was received really well, so we wanted to do a video to go with it. The video was directed by Rory Gullan and filmed near Brighton, UK. We were lucky enough to have a vintage 1968 Alfa Romeo Spider for the shoot. It was amazing to be able to drive such an iconic car.
4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Hopefully still touring lots, releasing great music and collaborating with inspiring artists.
5. What's next for Nina?
After our mini tour in Germany with DE/VISION, we'll be back in the studio to finish a couple of new songs for my first album, out in the summer.
Big thanks to Nina for the interview.
