The heavy riffs of the opening bars of this song might leave people thinking Press to MECO are just another band of metal wannabes, but then you would be doing them a disservice.
Juxtaposing the heavy riffs and constant rhythm changes with superbly harmonised vocals from all three members of the band, the music retains its urgency throughout, whilst producing a fresh, new sound. In addition to being able to throw out some good, dirty noise, all these boys can produce lead-quality vocals. The melodic crispness of the vocals could sound odd over the raw chunkiness of the music, but the whole thing hangs together well. This track heralds the release of their first album due to be released later in the year.
If this track is anything to go by, it should be a very interesting proposition.
