Palma Violets returned with their new single 'Danger In The Club' this week and it probably won't be too much of surprise to you if we were to say it was another one of those extravagant and explosive tracks that we've all become accustomed to hearing from Chilli and his crew.
A mixture of all the right ingredients has gone into this track, plus a little extra. It's upbeat then gloomy, upbeat then gloomy and upbeat then gloomy again, twisting and turning it's way through a mess of noise that falls together in perfect harmony, engineering yet another beautiful racket from the Lambeth four-piece. Palma Violets have become known for their rampant gigs, and you can just sense that 'Danger In The Club' was made with these in mind. Not only does its name give it away, but the whole pandemonium that goes along with it indicates nothing less. Chilli Jesson and co are set to release their new album soon and if the rest of it is as half as good as this track, we're all in for one heck of a treat.
RIFFED's Rating: 9/10
