RIFFED's Fantasy Festival

With festival season on the horizon once again and announcments galore being made, a few of us teamed up to pick a line-up for 'RIFFED's Fantasy Festival'. Pieced together with bands and artists from the past to the present, we have created a bill to top all bills...

Charlie's stage:

I've picked Arcade Fire, purely because they're the greatest band ever. Editors, Tribes, Jamie T, Cage the Elephant, Royal Blood, White Lies, Spector and Bombay Bicycle Club I've all seen, whether it be at a festival or at a gig and are simply brilliant festival artists. Lastly, Portugal. The Man, yet to appear at a UK festival for some strange reason. Listen to them, get them over here.

Roxy's stage:

The acts here are the ones I've seen put on an amazing show, though I'm gutted to have never seen Hole, Sleater-Kinney or MGMT. Dream Themes UK are on there because it's just silly and you can't beat grown men playing TV theme tunes like rock stars.

Abigail's stage:

The first one is kinda typical but I would have absolutely loved to have seen Nirvana as they are one of my favourite bands Also some of these bands on here don't really tour as their mainly side projects for members of other bands (Marmaduke Duke, Them Crooked Vultures). The other bands on here are bands I really want to see but haven't yet.

Niall's stage:

No comment needed.

Millie's stage:

I've picked these mainly 'cause I think they're great, I'm either dying to see them or I know they put on a great show. They're a good mix and obviously in some cases, like The Libertines, they've headlined big festivals before.

Sam's stage:

Again, no comment needed.

RIFFED's Introducing stage:

The names on the RIFFED Introducing stage are a selection of bands and artists that RIFFED writers feel will become big names in the very near future.
