Disclosure are promised to make a return very soon with new album 'Caracal'. The Lawrence brothers have stayed relatively quiet with new releases after the massive success of debut album ‘Settle’ in 2013, preferring to focus on touring, however, 2015 has seen three new releases, 'Bang That', 'Holding On (feat. Gregory Porter)', and, most recently, 'Omen (feat. Sam Smith)'.
What to expect from the new album?
After the release of Bang That, and an earlier track entitled Mechanism (feat. Friend Within), there have been rumours that Caracal could have a bigger focus on Disclousre’s early work, like Apollo and Flow, with more garage beats rather than the focus on vocals, heard in Settle. However, newest track Omen and whispers of some of the music industry's best vocalists asking to work with the Surrey duo, suggest that Caracal will still have an abundance of vocal tracks. A partial tracklist for the deluxe version of the album suggest that there will be certain appearances from LION BABE, Kwabs, and Nao, with the majority of tracks yet to be unveiled.
Disclosure have announced that the album will be released on the 25th September.
