Live music venues, whether they be an academy, an arena or even just your local pub or club, they've all become an integral part of many a life. Seeing your favourite band or artist play in front of your very eyes is something we all enjoy to do, therefore when the next gig gets announced, we're all but likely to travel the lengths and breadths of the country just to see them once more. In doing so, you're likely to have come across a number of venues throughout the years. But which is your favourite out of the lot?
For myself, it'd have to be the Fruit, in Hull. I went to one of my first gigs there, Tribes, back in 2012 and I've fell in love with the place ever since. I've seen dozens there, including the likes of Royal Blood, Spector, Temples and more. It's a great space, and that's really what makes it what it is. There's nothing excessively special about it, it's just a place I've come to appreciate.
