Introducing... Stone Cold Fox

Brooklyn based Stone Cold Fox have been a favourite of mine since I stumbled upon the video for their powerful and anthemic single 'American' almost 2 years ago. Since then, they have released their debut album 'Memory Palace' and toured America extensively. They also have big things coming up, but I’ll let them tell you about that. Introducing... Stone Cold Fox.

So who are Stone Cold Fox?

Kevin Olken Henthorn - Singer/Guitarist

Ariel Loh - Synth Player/Producer

Justin Bright - Bassist

Graham Stone - Guitarist

Aaron Hamel - Drummer

How would you describe your sound?

It's a combination of guitar rooted indie rock with synth pop hooks. We all like different styles of music and we like combining aesthetics and influences to create a new sound.

Where did the name of the band originate?

It's a line we took from the movie The Virgin Suicides. We like how it sounds.

You already have an EP ('The Young') and an incredible debut album ('Memory Palace')

under your belts, what can we expect next?

We have a new EP coming out in March and will be releasing a single very soon! We're still deciding on an EP name but the first single off of it is called 'Contagion'.

Do you plan on touring Europe any time soon?

We would absolutely love to, it's definitely a goal for this next year.

Describe a key moment for you, as a band? Any awe-inspiring-memory-making moments in particular?

Our last August tour was definitely a turning point for the band. A highlight from it was playing at Mile of Music Festival where we played to a full venue in a town we've never been to. We have learned a lot about performing and will continue to learn more and more. That tour really kicked us into high gear and helped us get our live show to the next level.
