Who are Stirling?
We are a four piece band from Southampton.
How would you describe your sound?
Our sound varies but I would say alternative/indie.
Who are your biggest influences and inspirations?
We all have our own different bands we love. For me the likes of The Coral, Twisted Wheel and Catfish and the Bottlemen have helped me develop songwriting massively from when we first started out.
What's the aim?
The aim is to keep growing as a band keep writing new tunes.
Where do you see yourselves in five years time?
That's a tough one. We've been doing it around four years already and it only feels like we're just starting. We just take it as it comes. Hopefully got ourselves a bit of a bigger following by then.
What's next for Stirling?
We've got quite a few gigs lined up over the coming months. We're back in the studio early October to record a new tune so hopefully have that out over the next few months.
Where can we find out/hear more from you?
You can find us on Facebook and Twitter, plus you can get our track 'She's Gone' as a free download from Soundcloud.
