Introducing... Bea Richie.

How would you describe your sound?
I like to describe my sound as electronic pop. I really like electronic music and I like playing around with the different sounds and incorporating them into my music.
You've recently released your first single, 'Back At The Beginning', tell us a little about it?
This song was actually written for me and I love it, it's kind of a dark love story, constantly going round and round in circles and always ending up 'Back at the Beginning'.
You've also already been recognised by the likes of BBC Introducing, how does this feel?
I love it! BBC Introducing is something that everyone can listen to and to know that my song was played on there for everyone to hear makes me very excited. I wish it could be on there all the time, always playing for people to hear!
What's the aim?
I love writing music so I will continue to write and record. My dream is to play festivals, I love the festival atmosphere so this is definitely one of my aspirations. I really just want to write music, for myself and other artists and have my music out there for everyone to hear and for people to know that they are my songs. I want to perform as much as possible.
What's next after this release for Bea Richie?
The next major thing is in February when the EP comes out for download on iTunes. I am also hoping to do some live gigs around the UK, watch this space! I'm just trying to get my music out there as much as possible.
