Love Buzzard - Superglue - Reviewed

Possibly the most infectious garage/punk/psychobilly/metal track I’ve heard in good while. There’s nothing wishy-washy about this offering from the Love Buzzard duo. ‘Superglue’ hits you right between the eyes, giving you a bloody nose before assaulting your ears. Riff heavy, the track is stripped down excellence with suitably frantic lyrics. The video continues the in the trademark cartoon-style already used in videos for tracks like ‘Cash’, making the visuals as arresting as the sounds. The out-sized heads bob freakishly to the beat as the nightmarish cartoons and vivid back-drops flash by.

Love Buzzard have produced music suitable for the party at the end of the Universe - loud and in-your-face, but unforgettable and catchy as hell. For a more immersive Love Buzzard-and-friends experience, I believe the pit parties Fluffer Records bring together in the London area are amazing. Out-of-towners will just have to crank the volume up and have a little party of their own.
